Community Meeting at Atlas Collective
We will be gathering at Atlas Collective to discuss meaningful, concrete ways we can support our unhoused neighbors and strengthen the work already being done in our community. This includes exploring how we can contribute to existing fundraising efforts, uplift ongoing activism, and potentially launch new initiatives where support is needed most.
During this meeting, I also want us to talk about the possibility of organizing a community camp‑out at Rock Island City Council an action being proposed by Randy Flowers and the Liberty and Justice Organization. The purpose of this camp‑out would be to call attention to the urgent need for long‑term, sustainable solutions to homelessness and to push our city leadership toward real, structural change.
This gathering is meant to be collaborative, strategic, and rooted in compassion. Everyone who cares about building a safer, more humane community is welcome to join the conversation and help shape the next steps.
