American and Israeli Infiltration of the Iranian Revolutionaries, 2026
American and Israeli Infiltration of the Iranian Revolutionaries, 2026
It pains me to speak about this, because I genuinely support the vision many Iranian revolutionaries hold: a secular and democratic Iran where the rights of all people are protected. Their dream includes liberation for LGBTQIA communities, an end to persecution against Christians, Jews, atheists, and other non‑Muslims, and a revival of worker‑owned cooperatives and grassroots economic democracy. That vision is powerful, just, and deeply inspiring.
But the reality on the ground in 2026 has been far more complicated and far more tragic.
The Infiltration of Revolutionary Movements
During the protests, revolutionary parties and grassroots networks experienced significant infiltration. Outsiders many aligned with pro‑American, pro‑imperial, or pro‑Zionist agendas inserted themselves into the movement with the intention of steering it away from genuine liberation. Some even openly advocated for restoring the Shah or installing a Western‑aligned government, a move that would betray the sacrifices of generations of Iranians who fought against monarchy and foreign domination.
These infiltrators did more than just shift the narrative. They actively endangered the lives of true grassroots organizers. Many revolutionaries were doxxed to the Iranian government, exposing them to surveillance, arrest, torture, and execution. Entire neighborhoods experienced blackouts as the regime cracked down. Hundreds of activists were disappeared into prisons, subjected to interrogation, and in many cases killed.
This devastation could have been avoided if the United States and Israel had refrained from inserting themselves into the internal struggle of Iranian activists. Instead of allowing Iranians to shape their own revolution, foreign powers attempted to manipulate the uprising for geopolitical gain.
Media Narratives and the Erasure of the Truth
As time passes, Western media increasingly highlights the bravery of Iranian protesters and the push for secularism. But what remains largely unspoken is the extent of foreign infiltration and the damage it caused. The public sees the surface the demonstrations, the slogans, the calls for reform but not the internal sabotage, the co‑optation of leadership, or the strategic attempts to redirect the revolution toward outcomes favorable to outside powers.
Revolutionaries themselves have warned us: support the protesters, but stay vigilant. Do not fall for sanitized media narratives that erase the presence of infiltrators. Do not mistake foreign manipulation for genuine solidarity.
A Struggle for True Independence
Unfortunately, the influence of Zionist and American imperial interests has taken hold within parts of the movement’s leadership. Their goal is not a free Iran, but a compliant Iran one that can be exploited, pressured, or reshaped to serve foreign agendas. The push to reinstall a monarchic figurehead or create a client state is part of this broader strategy.
But the Iranian people deserve more than that. They deserve a future that is neither theocratic nor subservient to foreign powers. They deserve a secular, democratic Iran that stands independently on the world stage an Iran shaped by its own people, not by the ambitions of Washington or Tel Aviv.
The Path Forward
Our responsibility is to advocate for an Iran that is truly free:
Free from theocratic rule
Free from foreign manipulation
Free from imperial agendas
Free to determine its own destiny
Solidarity means supporting the people not the infiltrators, not the opportunists, and not the geopolitical chess players who see Iran as a prize rather than a nation.
The revolution belongs to the Iranian people, and no one else.
